The Great Qin Seat Map and Sightlines Explained
The Great Qin is a traversing theatre: the audience platform advances with the story, so every zone covers exactly the same route and the same scenes — the difference is only distance, angle and price. At booking you choose the zone only; the system assigns the seat.
Zones at a glance
| Zone | List price | Offer price | Character | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | ¥688 | — | Closest, most complete view | Best experience, ample budget |
| VIP | ¥588 | — | Front core sightlines, strong sense of interaction | Seeing performance detail up close |
| Zone A | ¥458 | ¥368 | Best balance of distance and angle | Most first-time visitors |
| Zone B | ¥388 | ¥318 | Balanced value, slightly farther | Experience and budget together |
| Zone C | ¥338 | ¥258 | Farthest, but the full traversing experience | Budget first, here for the story |
Offer prices follow what the official channels publish in real time; seats in one order may not be adjacent, and the seat number on your issuance info prevails.
Choosing by need
- First time: Zone A. The most balanced distance and angle — hard to go wrong
- Maximum immersion: VIP or Premium. Front rows reveal actors’ expressions and stagecraft detail
- Limited budget: Zone C offer ticket. Farther away, but the traversing route misses no scene — you still see everything
- With family: Premium or VIP have the best views; children aged 5 and over need their own ticket, and guardians must help them fasten their seat belts
Two common misconceptions
- “Closer is always better.” The staging uses large-scale projection and heavy machinery, so from the very front you may actually see less of the overall choreography
- “I can pick my own seat.” Under real-name ticketing the system assigns seats and you choose only the zone — so pick your zone when booking
Reminders
- The seats move with the story — sit in your assigned seat and do not switch
- No photos or video anywhere; just watch with your eyes
- More than 15 minutes late and you cannot enter (the platform has moved, leaving no safe route in); arrive an hour early
