The Great Qin Real-Name Ticketing and Entry Guide

10/21/2026Travel Guide

Rules in force since 16 March 2026: full real-name ticketing, and ticket, ID and person must match for entry.

1. Core booking rules

  • Real-name limits: person, ID, ticket and face are verified as one set. For a single performance, on a single day, one ID may hold at most 1 ticket across all platforms (one person, one ID, one ticket). No transfer or resale.
  • Who needs a ticket: one ticket per person — seniors and children aged 5 and above all need one; there are no special passenger discounts.
  • Not admitted: children under 5, and intoxicated guests.
  • Watch with caution: guests aged 75 and above, pregnant visitors, and those with claustrophobia, high blood pressure or heart conditions, or who have been drinking, are not recommended (safety).
  • Seat allocation: the system assigns seats after booking and they cannot be exchanged; seats in one order may not be adjacent.

2. Refunds and the time limits

  • Refunds: a full refund can be requested before 12:00 the day before the show; after that, no refund or change. Missing entry for personal reasons is non-refundable and non-changeable.
  • Entry time: check-in opens 35 minutes before the show; entry closes 15 minutes after it starts, and mid-show exit is not allowed. Latecomers are seated at staff discretion (the auditorium is a traversing, movable platform).

3. Verification and documents

  • Verification principle: ticket, ID, person and face must all match; anyone who is not the ticket holder cannot enter.
  • ID card: scan the original at the gate.
  • Non-ID documents (passport / Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan permits): collect a paper ticket at the ticketing centre first; bring the original household register for children without an ID, plus a guardian.
  • Forgotten documents: go to the manual window with your ID number and order page; proxy collection is not supported.

4. On-site rules (and how to avoid trouble)

  • Safety and facilities: about 80 minutes with movable seating; storage for large luggage is available; guests with limited mobility should arrive early and ask staff for help.
  • Prohibited: no smoking anywhere; no food, drinks, coloured beverages or pets; phones on silent; no photography or filming; no professional aerial equipment.
  • Etiquette and seating: sit in your assigned seat and do not occupy extra seats; if tall headwear or styling blocks others, please adjust; follow directions in an emergency.

5. Practical information

  • Location: northeast corner of Fengdong Avenue and Tiantai Road, Weiyang District, Xi’an (near Afanggong Nan Station on Line 5).
  • Parking: Lot 1 on the east side is free, Lot 2 on the south side is paid.

In one line: whoever watches buys under their own real name, brings the original document and scans in with face verification; 75+ and guests with serious conditions are not recommended; under-5s and intoxicated guests are not admitted; don’t be late, don’t transfer, don’t photograph.
